Five weeks after a pleasant fitting w/Chelsea, I received two pairs - easily the best fitting jeans I've ever experienced from just pulling them on. If you're looking for the best, do yourself a favor and schedule a fitting, pick your fabric(s) carefully, and enjoy. You won't regret it. My curiosity now is how long I can go before ai get another.

Thought I would share my experience with Detroit Denims alterations department. I bought a pair of raw denim off eBay and the sizing was terrible in the waist and hips of the pants but otherwise loved the pair. However, they were almost unwearable. This is not a typical alteration and most tailors wont take something like this on because jeans just arent meant to be altered in the top block. Detroit Denim did. I worked with Chelsea. Had a video consultation with her to go over the fit. I took some additional pics and emailed them when I sent the jeans in. I was really worried I was just waiting more money on them and could be salvaged. I couldnt be more happy with the result. They fit perfectly now. Took an inch off the waist and feel like they were made for me. Most comfortable pair of jeans Ive worn owned and my new favorites! Thanks DDC!

I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Chelsea and the whole crew at Detroit Denim. Not only are their jeans fantastic, but their hemming and repair work is top notch too. Denim isnt easy to darn and hem well. They do it all with an outstanding attention to detail. In an era where so much is disposable, its great to see a company emphasize quality, longevity and repairability.
