Garbage. Was supposed to leave at 1:03 am to chicago, but I had to wait all the way to 5:00am, and still not get on the bus. All because there was not enough drivers. The guy claiming he was the "manager" kept lying, many people had things to go to in chicago and may miss it. garbage bus station. Recommended: Amtrak Train Station

The last time I took a greyhound was from Buffalo to Detroit. This was 2014. I was awaken, during that ride, when the bus came to a near-immediate halt, while driving down the interstate. The bus stopped with such veracity that my glasses were actually ejected from my face and my body propelled into the seat in front of me; I was shaken awake and found myself half in the isle. in that moment,- as i was being hurled into the chair ahead of me, I opened my eyes and saw, on the lwft side of the bus, a white sedan flipping over, and over and over. My greyhound had collided with a sedan carrying a man, a woman, their baby and a dog. Everything happened so quickly,- I don't believe the bus had even come to a complete stop before a large man was standing in the isle, yelling, -I mean YELLING,- "Let's go detroit, let's go!" I immediately stood to my feet and, without even my glasses, I joined the crew of five-or-so brave people; we immediately exited the bus on the side of the interstate and ran to help the wrecked motorist. The vehicle was sideways, with the driver-side door facing the sky. The driver, a male, was climbing out of the vehicle as we approached. Some folks assisted the man to the ground. His face was, for the lack of a better description, falling apart; we seated the man on the ground and a very brave woman assisted in holding his face together. That's when I heard another paton yell,- "there's someone under the car!" And in that moment, the five of us rolled the sedan back on its wheels and freed the woman from underneath the wrecked car. The woman was non-responsive and had a very large laceration along the inside of her thigh and stomach but was still breathing. That was when we noticed the baby inside the car, sitting still and quiet. A patron equipped with a knife cut the baby from the vehicle and rushed it to the bus. The baby was somehow laughing dispute the trauma. We waited for a few moments until the police arrived and then continued our voyage to detroit. My glasses were crushed and I was pretty shaken. We were all promised refunds, or free tickets (I forget). I wrote my contact info on the paper that was provided and never heard another word from greyhound. No refund. No free ticket. No more glasses. But hey, that was 2014. BUT I'M ACTUALLY HERE TO TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED TODAY. Because today is a special day. My father's 7th birthday. My father has stage 4 cancer and, to anyone's best guess, this is likely to be his last birthday... I typically drive my 2010 f150 to and from Buffalo (you know, to avoid having to roll sedans off of people, or whatever). However, the A/C pully is seizing and I decided to -play it safe- (HA) and take a bus. I arrived and was in line 17 minutes early. I had an e-ticket on my cell phone aND had my phone in hand. The bus driver asked me,- "where are you going?" However because i am hard of hearing, and the driver was about 5-8 feet away from me, I couldn't understand him. I asked,- "what?" And the driver shouted,- "go to the front desk!" So I went to the front desk to ask if my eticket required any additional papers... the security gaud said,- "no, you need to go back to the line." The guard picked up on my Confusion and accompanied me back to the line I was just waiting in. By this time the driver had allowed several other passengers onboard. I approached the driver and explained that my ticket was an eticket. He looked at the security guard and said,- "I asked him where he was going and he said 'what,' he doesn't even know where he is going he has to stay." And the driver turned around and exited the building and climbed aboard the bus. I ran out and pleaded with the driver,- "my old man's dying from cancer!," I said,- today's his birthday!" And the driver shut the door and drove away. Because I couldn't f#cking hear him. Really? I missed my father's last birthday because I was discriminated against due to my disability. I'm so f'ING sorry, please greyhound, SPEAK THE F#UCK UP.
