This place is top tier. Great service, great food. Highly recommend. Favorite place to visit when in Detroit.

We had not been to the Caucus Club 40 years. It will not be that long before we return. It was a wonderful evening. The hostess was engaging and personable. It is a nicely appointed, elegant room with seating spaced so that one never feels crowded. It looks and feels like a high-end restaurant should look and feel. Service was excellent. Our waiter was Antonio, and he handled the evening like a seasoned professional - attentive, friendly and charming. Dirty dishes were quickly removed and half-filled glasses were immediately refilled. Plus, his food suggestions were spot on. We had a Caesar salad prepared table side, and it was delicious - light and flavorful. We could taste the freshness. I had the scallops and my date had chicken Scallopini. The scallops were perfectly cooked. My date said the chicken was the best she remembers eating. Just a fantastic dinner. Unbeknownst to us, the Caucus Club has a jazz trio play Saturday evenings (piano, standup bass and drum). They were excellent. It truly elevated the experience. We could have been in a supper club in New York, but we were close to home in Detroit. The night ended with an otherworldly chocolate torte. On the way home both of us commented on how much we enjoyed the evening. Delicious dinner, great service, wonderful ambience, excellent music = Fantastic Evening!

Hands down one of the best meals Ive ever had. The tuna tartare was amazing. I ordered the Ribeye and was cooked to perfection. Service was amazing and got seared right by the piano which was really nice and set a nice ambiance for your meal.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, our experience was elevated to an extraordinary level, thanks in no small part to our waiter, Jaquanor Jay, as he introduced himself. His down-to-earth demeanor and attentive service set the tone for what was an unforgettable celebration of my cousin's 18th birthday. Jay went above and beyond, ensuring that every aspect of our evening was nothing short of exceptional.The culinary journey began with appetizers that set a high bar: the lump crab cakes were a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, delighting our taste buds and igniting our anticipation for the main course. And indeed, the Chicago Cut Bone-in Ribeye that followed did not disappoint. It was, without exaggeration, one of the most exquisite ribeyes I've ever had the pleasure of savoring in Metro Detroita statement I do not make lightly, having frequented every notable steakhouse in the area. The Caucus Club, with its culinary prowess, stands as a formidable rival to the renowned London Chop House.Our side dishesthe Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, and Mac & Cheesewere each a testament to the kitchen's commitment to quality and flavor, complementing the ribeye perfectly. The grand finale, a Chocolate Trout dessert, was a masterpiece of confectionery art. Despite my usual indifference to chocolate desserts, this creation, with its rich dark chocolate, velvety milk chocolate mousse, and the tartness of raspberry accented with nuts, was an epiphany.I wholeheartedly recommend the Caucus Club to anyone seeking an unparalleled steak experience paired with impeccable service. Make sure to request Jay as your waiter; his dedication to guest satisfaction will undoubtedly enhance your dining experience.
