        First time ever having a problem at this location. I ordered the 2 for 5 BBQ tangler burgers,and I had a Qr code for a free fry with the order. The gentleman charged me $4.29,and I explained the sign says $5 up front. He couldn't figure it out so he tried charging me for a drink I didn't want to make the order $5. That brought my total to 7.89. I didn't want the drink,and told him just to charge me $5 like the sign out front said. He eventually gave me my bag which had a chicken sandwich,and a double burger in it. I didn't order either of these,and they put a fry container dripping with grease upside down in my bag. The whole bag and sandwiches got covered in grease. Usually I have a great experience here,but they were obviously having problems this day. If you are going to get mad at people with Qr codes,don't let them use it. Ended up throwing the food away. It looked like they dumped fryer oil right in my bag.

      As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.
