Peter Willis on Google

image In Comstock, MI, my mother contacted the Department on East Michigan weeks ago because a man had a fire burning right outside an apartment (first and last time living in an apartment) and it was massive, at least 30-40 feet high. She said he spends full time doing such. The man who answered the call, arrived and worked about an hour putting out the fire and even cleaned up the ashes. Then two weeks later, the same thing. She called the Department again and a man by the name of Nick refused to even listen to her and would not come out and put the fire out. The area where this tenant was burning was about 20 feet from a long row of cars and the way sparks were flying, I was frightened that a car might ignite and subsequently travel forty feet to the apartments, mine being the closest. Why are we paying taxes if we have to live in fear of your property being burned down, or, worse yet, losing someone due to the lack of attention from the Station? She asked him if he knew her and he said he did. Interesting, that two weeks later there was a very large fire that destroyed four units! Typical Comstock action and too many fire persons trying to run the Township.......just one of the many problems.
