        Both of my children (7 and 4 years old) love going to Lakes Pediatric Dentistry since they have been 18 months old. The staff is always kind and encouraging in order to help make it an overall positive experience. They enjoy reading the Elmo book and receiving their prizes at the end.

        My 3yr old loves going to the dentist because of this amazing team! They are always so patient and kind and I love that they explain what they are going to be doing with my daughter and they are also fast which makes it even easier for her! Would definitely recommend this office for little kids going to the dentist for the first time!

        The doctor and hygienist my 2 year old son had yesterday were hands down amazing. They read him a sweet little book and talked to him very nicely before during and after the process of cleaning. My son really fought through the cleaning but they handled him very well and I felt they were understanding. The cleaning was super quick and we are nothing short of happy!

      Board-certified pediatric dentist Dr. Naila Farooq owns and operates Lakes Pediatric Dentistry in Commerce Charter Township outside of Detroit, Michigan. Licensed to practice dentistry in Michigan and Maryland, she founded her practice in 2002 after earning her master's degree and pediatric dentistry certificate from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she worked as a dental research associate from 1999 to 2000. Maintaining a friendly and inviting atmosphere in her practice, Dr. Naila Farooq currently provides quality oral healthcare to children, adolescents, and older patients, and she and her staff maintain the highest standards for patient care and service.
