I started a new business and needed an accountant to help me along the way with some new things and a few old tax issues with another different LLC. So I signed up with Zigo & Associates back in March and paid them $500 up front to do my personal taxes from last year and then they sold me on a bill of goods to pay them monthly and in return I was supposed to get some kind of consultation and assistance with building my business I assumed. I thought the $185 monthly fee was a little steep but considering I was supposed to get some "consultation regarding accounting, tax, and business matters throughout the year as requested" I thought it may be worth it. Well after 3 months Zigo & Associates had helped with absolutely nothing. Even though I had called and asked for assistance on a couple different matters, I still had not talked to one accountant or even someone who could give me sound advice. The incompetent woman who answers the phone in the office couldn't seem to answer any of my questions without telling me it would cost me more money for their assistance. When I asked what I was paying $185 a month for I was met with a litany of umms and uhhs followed by an indirect answer which confirmed my suspicions that I was indeed getting nothing for my money. I canceled their service after those 3 months because I felt like the only thing I was receiving from my relationship with this company was more work that I had to take on myself. It's now mid August and I am still unaware if Zigo & associates has done anything with my taxes even though I paid them $500 up front to handle my taxes for the previous year. It's really unfortunate for my circumstance because I thought I was doing the right thing by hiring an account early on for my business, but instead it I feel like I have been taken advantage of as a new business owner and this experience has only costed me more time and money that I cant afford at this moment.

Several months ago, I started looking for a new accountant due to my previous accountant whom I've been with for 4 1/2 years started screwing up my taxes something awful the last two years I was with them. I came upon several accountants in the area, some close by others a little further out. What got me to go with Zigo & Associates is the reviews. As I'm a person who always check reviews on any company or business, Zigo and Associates had many 5 stars positive reviews so, I'd decided to give them a try. Needless to say, that was the best decision I could have made. Talk about affordable rates, nice, pleasant staff and Dan, I couldn't say enough about him. This man saved me from what could have been a disastrous situation concerning my business. I truly couldn't thank him enough; he is truly a genius who knows his stuff. Cherie is awesome, much love to her. The rest of the staff are so pleasant and helpful and very easy to work with, I appreciate them all. I've never had an issue being able to reach anyone when I have a concern or question. Zigo & Associates are the BEST and I personally highly recommend them to any and everyone for their accounting needs.

Gives you bottles of wine to lure in your business. Then, when you need him the most, I.e. while trying to get a mortgage, he will let you go if you dont have 3 weeks for him to conjure up a profit and loss form that took us 20 mins to create ourself so we dont hold up everybody in the mortgage process. We still got our mortgage. We threw the useless wine away. He then sent some salesperson to our facility to see if we want to be his client. Mental? Perhaps.
