Summit Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Let me start by saying it is evident just from the replies to the poor reviews there is no accountability at all, so sad. I have been in the dental field for over 20 years and never have I experienced such disregard. Let me start by saying I took my daughter in for a simple 20 min procedure and assured her it would be an easy surgery. I paid "extra" for the nitrous oxide so she would be comfortable. We didnt even make it to the car after the procedure and she was sobbing because the "anesthetic" was worn off, believe me I was angry but I promised my daughter I would not go back in and complain, I just let it slide. At the follow up appointment I mentioned it to the assistant and her response was "maybe she has a fast metabolism". How about some type of acknowledgement... how about an apology for the "bad" experience my daughter had. And lets be honest, in all of my 20 years of dental never have I ever come across someone who metabolizes anesthetic in 20 min. Unacceptable....Fast forward, when I received my insurance statement from my dental company, everything was billed incorrectly. Mind you, when the company receives payment it is posted to the account and this should of been seen on their end when the payment was posted, that things did not match up and that I had a credit on the account that was not sent back to me. However, it was not, so I called and called and called and left several messages. It was not until I asked to speak to the office manager did I actually get a response, and even that took two calls. So they "rebilled" the correct procedure and issued a check to me IN MY MINOR DAUGHTERS NAME...I mean seriously talk about incompetence. I was asked to try and deposit the check into my account however that was not feasible so I returned the check over a month ago and I called to check on my "refund" check and was told it was in the mail but the mail has been slow. This was over 2 weeks ago...I am done being patient and polite, they owe me a refund check and a huge apology, as well as my daughter..I have used other Summit Oral Surgery locations before and have referred several people to Summit but I have never ran into any problems as such. I will NEVER return to this office, nor will I be referring to this office in the future. Hands down the worst experience I have had in the industry, and still no accountability.

I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Sclafani and could not recommend him and his staff enough. His office was able to accommodate me and get me in quick because my teeth were causing me pain. They were very kind and informative and made the entire process seamless. I am only a few days post-op and am feeling great overall. Thank you to Dr. Sclafani, Carli, Alexia, and Rachel for all the help!

Dr Kraemer was polite and did an excellent job. The wisdom tooth removal was quick and painless. They offer local anesthesia which is much cheaper than general anesthesia, I recommend that if you intend on saving money! The pre and post OP instructions were very helpful.

I have been to two of their offices. One for a consultation and one for surgery. Both offices were amazing! The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable & caring. Carli answered all of my questions and was very attentive! Overall, I would recommend anyone to come here! They have done a fantastic job!
