I travel to Detroit twice a month for business. I often stay at Hampton Inns, but I remember having a good experience at this Hiltiin Garden Inn a year ago so I decided to stay there again. This place is excellent! Stephan at the Front Desk was super friendly and great to talk to. We even discussed the NHL and my Blackhawks jacket which, in Detroit, is not the best thing to wear.lol We had a great laugh about it, and I really felt like the staff here genuinely care. I will be making this hotel one of my top places to stay on my work visits!

Continue cleanliness and maintained issues. Reported each stay. Last stay this week, the same issues no shampoo, hair on the bathroom floor, reported to the manager was rude and it seems he doesn't care about not going again they lost my business (about 20 plus nights a year) after giving them 3 chances to improve.

Tori down at the bar was very helpful and full of fun. Please stop down and ask for Tori.
Room was get and quick checkin with the app.
Rooms: Very clean

Very bad owner of the hotel he is Reeses
He claims he owns the hotel across the street in Residence Inn where I was staying at and they charge me for a service dog and charge me over $100 for snacks that I did not get young lady works there and is very rude at the front Dess kept arguing a point and never wants to give you nothing to help you when you ask for something so checked out of there when calls the street to the Hilton checked in and management told me they dont want me to stay there because the other manager came over there from next-door that is, I believe family and told him not to let me their owner. Anthony says he didnt want me to stay at the hotel. They are racist. Do not stay at this hotel.
For wanting everything youre saying is a lie and I wouldnt you stay at your hotel if he was the last person in the world what god thats a place for people like you and I will leave you to God for the manager in his rude employees at the next sister hotel except for the nice night lady very friendly
Since you wanna mention peoples family Anthony, I would mention yours too but its probably not your fault that they have somebody like you because its probably a fixed marriage. God help them to have a man like you in the house. Can you remind me of the people that crucified Jesus, because they were doing the right thing, and there was no way to change your mind. Thats why you were still arguing even through reviews thats how smart you are so hopefully you and your boyfriend Peter from next-door. Bothering people in my own business one day.

02/28/2024 another revision gave another shot same issues cleanliness, maintainence, no Shampoo wall hanging botes was empty. That happens in my last visit as well thought give another shot. Talked with manager rude no apologies for inconvenience instead he changed the topic. So pulling plug no more this location asi figured it out after giving 2 more chances and stayed there in hoping of improvement bit sa.e story. So final conclusion
Management doesn't care and will not stay anymore to that franchise location of Hilton.
Last visit review
Revising the review since customer service contacted and promised to improve the service. Means they care. Overall hotel is clean. The last 2 visits were not good experiences so I want to ensure they step up on their service addressing the concerns to win my business.
I normally stay at this location, almost every month and notice the service going down. Last I talked with the manager about a dirty toilet seat yes... he promised to fix all the sentry issues but last week this was a disaster. I left him a voice message and never cared to call back.
1st when I arrived they didn't have my reservation ready, as front desk clerk couldn't locate and when I provided the confirmation she was able to pull my reservation. Then the next morning during shower found no shampoo or conditioner. To the date manager never returned my call so it means next time moving to Marriot as I take it they don't care.
