Believe the ONE STARS. This place is a joke they do not fix anything and after reading a recent one star review I see that its a pattern to practice bad ethics, so i moved here at the end of September and I too had saw the display unit and was not able to see my actual unit until move in, I think thats something they like doing which is wrong because you should be able to see what your paying for before hand. Second when I first moved in a did a walk through list check and immediately took videos and notified Sondra the leasing manager that the washer had a chulk substance in it and when it runs its extremely loud, fast forward 6months later my sons clothes that I bought for Christmas which cost over 300.00 got oil stains in them and I notified Mariah and Sondra from the leasing office that the washer machine had damaged my clothes, Im still waiting for this washer to be fixed they keep saying they will fix it and dont. Also I was told I could still use the washer by the matainace man while they wait for the part to come in. Its been six months and my sons clothes was damaged while I was waiting and was told I could still use the washer. Sondra stated they were not gonna pay for the damages that had been done due to their washer not being fixed and the maintenance workers saying you can still use the washer. Also nothing has been addressed from that walk through form I did. They make service orders and mark them as completed when nothing has been done also the heat always conveniently cuts Ive notice over the weekends, its been over a handful of times I called about the heat not working and I have a small child. This place is the worst and I promise Im Done with apartments after this experience. They are highly unethical in their practices and needs to be investigated. Someone was killed back in January over here which also makes me uncomfortable because it took a while for them to find the person who was the killer, I leave out early in the morning with a small child and when I saw my apartments was on the news for this and the police had not found the killer until he turned himself in was a scary experience especially leaving out your home with a child and not knowing where the person was they were looking for. Im perusing legal action now I called the office and was told by my attorney to see if they will make things right before we go the other route and they didnt so now Im retaining a lawyer to handle this matter. Im paying for the use of an appliance that I cannot use and have to come out of extra money and go to a laundromat when I have a washer and dryer in my unit that peeachtree apartments will not fix.
