Clinton Place Apartments

I had the pleasure of touring this property this past week. My leasing agent was sweet and knowledgeable and the property manager took the time to introduce herself as well. The grounds were amazingly kept! I definitely will be looking forward to making this my new home!

I moved to Clinton Place Apartments in March of 2021. John the Maintenance man was very helpful from day one. He is a dedicated worker, and knowledgeable of his job . He has no complaints from me . I have only had John come to take care of all my Maintenance needs. Hes efficient when it comes to his job. He takes it seriously . Whenever he sees me , whether Im in my car, or doing my morning walks he makes it his duty to stop and ask how my day is going. Clinton Place couldnt ask for a Better Maintenance Supervisor than the one they have. Hes a keeper , dont let him get away .

Just a note worthy shout out to Clinton Place maintenance crew, is usually on top of addressing all maintenance issues quickly. John and Adam is doing A Great Job! Keep up the good work.

READ before deciding to live here!!! First of all, the day of my move in the place was DISGUSTING. The dishwasher had food in it, food all over the floor, puke in the window, the list goes on.it was so gross I didnt even move anything in that day and all they offered me was $100 off. I lived there for one year and they had 3 different managers in the ONE year I lived there. When my lease was up they sent me a letter stating that if I wanted to renew they were going to raise my rent $330/month!!! Mind you, this place was dark, dingy, dirty, and the appliances are OLD. I only lived there because I THOUGHT it was cheap. I was wrong because they charge you soooo many HIDDEN FEES its outrageous. They charge a monthly $5 admin fee just because they can. They charge gas, water, sewer, pest fee you have to pay DTE AND consumers. (Most apartments dont charge you for gas, heat, and water) The worst part is, the A/C is also extremely old and was constantly breaking down or was always running because it couldnt keep up and I was ALWAYS hot in the summer. (Also caused for a high bill in the summer) I was not the only one with broken A/C either. Shelby, the front desk person takes FOREVER to get back to you or just doesn't get back to you at all and you basically have to harass them for anything that you need. The icing on the cake was when I finally moved out they sent me a final bill of $130 which included a $100 late fee and I ALWAYS paid on time. Shelby tried fighting me on it then said she would get back to me and of course she never did so I had to constantly call them so they wouldnt send me to collections over something I didnt even owe them! Come to find out, Shelby tells me this happens all the time so if you know people are getting charged late fees when they shouldnt be and it happens all the time why did you try fighting me on it??? I have lived in many apartments all over the country (for the military) and this is by far the most unprofessional and worst place I have ever dealt with. I really highly suggest that NO ONE lives here. (Pics of what it looked like the day I was supposed to moved in)

Ive moved here in the end of March and it has been nothing but pleasant. The application process was easy and our leasing consultant Shelby was super kind and helpful. The rent and pricing is very reasonable for what your offered and how the property is taken care of. Since moving in weve had no issues. Its a quiet community filled with children and pets. Theres a cute park located in the back for children thats always filled after school and all summer long. The dog park is wonderful and great sized for several dogs to play at once and very well maintained located in the back as well. The John the Maintenance guy is super kind and helpful. John is super quick to get back to you on your request and fix the issues the same day or within 24 hours (he always reaches out with updates and explains what the issue may be or if there will be a delay) Himself and the few others that work on maintenance keep great care of the property and always greet you as drive through the complex. They take safety precautions by placing speed bumps throughout the complex and have a resident only entrance off canal which is very discreet and convenient. I would highly recommend this place to any friends, family and other fellow residents looking for a new place to stay.
