Dr. Michelle Dawson

Dr Dawson is amazing I only wish I had met her 10 years ago. I have Lichen Planopilaris and frontal fibrosis an auto immune disease that causes permanent hair loss. I have been to 4 different doctors in search of one that understands how devastating this disease is both emotionally and physically. Dr Dawson has exceeded my expectations as she is extremely knowledgeable with hair loss, compassionate, takes her time explaining our treatment plan and excellent follow up. I can't thank her enough as she has done a tremendous job in improving my quality of life to such a horrible condition. If I could give 10 stars I would!

By far the most genuine, kind, and patient dermatologist/doctor I have experienced. Most derms are in and out in 2 minutes - Michelle will take the time to sit with you and understand all concerns and talk through. I never feel rushed with her. I struggle with vasovagal syncope and she always gets me an ice pack, is patient with me, and skips her lunch break to allow more time to go slow with me. What other doctor would do that?! On top of that, I never feel like she tries to sell me or do any cosmetic that wouldnt look natural on me. I seriously wish I could have her be my doctor for everything!

Office was good, wait wasnt too bad, about 45 minutes. However, by far the fastest skin check Ive ever experienced. Im covered in freckles and have a family history of melanoma and my skin check by Dr. Dawson took less than five minutes. She quickly scanned me with a light and that was it. She was friendly and answered questions. The check just wasnt nearly as thorough as Ive had with my other dermatologist who retired, especially with all of my freckles and family history. I wouldve appreciated more attentiveness so I will look for another dermatologist.
