I've been to a few mechanics in the area and have had a really good experience with all of them, but I really like JB's. They do have a bit of a wait because it's no secret they are great at what they do, but it's worth the wait. They are knowledgeable, honest, professional and fair. I was a bit stressed because my only vehicle just had an unexpected issue, but it looks like it will be repaired much sooner than I thought it would. Thanks JB's Sales & Service!

Was quoted for a simple job 1100, said cool. They call back a few days later saying I needed more fixes, and already ordered the parts (low quality parts I wouldnt have put in my car). Made me pay closer to 2500 for fixes I didnt approve. Dont trust these guys with a go-kart. 0/10 would not recommend to a friend

After reading the reviews I figured this was probably the most reputable place nearby. My call was answered promptly by a friendly young lady that said we don't do estimates. It'd be best to bring it in. I said I need a rear end replacement and it's not driveable and I'm not willing to tow it unless I have a promise of work being done. Her response was basically 'Too bad for you'. Disappointed at best. She then let me know they were pushed out until September. I politely thanked her for nothing and hung up. It's called an estimate for a lot of reasons. I completely understand that the price may be more or less than the expected. They might be the best mechanics in the UP. I suppose I'll never know.
