Last week I went to the Brook Hickman office to get some questions answered and see if I needed to update my policy. The person (Dillan, who claimed to be the manager) in the office to "help" had ZERO understanding of customer service, and nearly zero about insurance. All he was able to do was type things into the computer and read what came up. He was unable to listen to my concerns long enough to be able to address my needs. While I was in the office he got another person on zoom for help and all that person did was continue to talk on his phone and ignore the zoom call. After getting nowhere regarding my questions I ask Dillan to find something out for me and call me. He agreed to do so. Eight days later I called to see if Dillan had an answer to my question and he lied to me and told me he had said the Allstate was not able to put a rider on my policy to cover my e-bike. When I ask to speak to his manager he told me to call the 800 number. When I did, my call was routed right back to Dillan. I just got done cancelling my auto and home policies. Thank you Dillan for throwing away a 30 year customer so you could get back to more important things. By the way, I am VERY happy with the service I received from Cam at State Farm and look forward to a long, insurance relationship with Cam and his company. Customer service DOES matter!
