Sunflower Inn

The Sunflower Inn was just perfect for our stay in Charlevoix. The en-suite Rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Hosts John and Lynda are delightful and their breakfast was outstanding.

Beautiful and spacious room with fresh flowers! Breakfast was an excellent made-to-order omelet. Walking distance to a lovely downtown shopping area and to Charlevoix beach. John and Lynda were the perfect hosts!

The hosts, John and Linda, were very hospitable, knowledgeable of the area (where to eat, where to hike, where to hunt for Petoskey stones, etc.), and tasty in the kitchen (We had waffles and omelets.). They were very quick to respond to any of our texts or phone calls, when we had questions or concerns. The facility is well maintained and spic and span, and easy to locate. There is an open common area with ample seating. In our experience sometimes bedrooms lack sufficient outlets for modern electronics; but this was not the case in the Sunflower Inn. The internet connection was solid and quick. The location was convenient to many of the area parks and beaches, and to downtown Charlevoix. It is south of the drawbridge, so travel north can be interrupted on the hour or half hour if there is boat traffic needing the bridge raised. The Inn's website is helpful and accurate. Overall we had a great experience.

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we would love to come back! The room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and provide a great breakfast in the morning! Its in a great location close to downtown. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I had such a lovely stay at this beautiful B&B. We had a beautiful room that was clean and quiet, and we were able to walk to the downtown restaurants and music venues. In the morning we were treated to an absolutely amazing breakfast. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone visiting Charlevoix.
