I have always found the people in the office helpful and nice. Family has been with them for about 30 years. Unfortunately a few weeks ago had my first really bad experience. Not so much with this office more with farm bureau roadside. Although I did contact the office about the issue I was having and the lady I spoke to was no help. As far as the service provided by roadside it was far beyond subpar. 1st guy I spoke to 'Able Cesar' was just horrible. Not trying to be rude, but why would you have someone who's native language is not English working in a call center? It's fine if the employee can not only speak but more importantly understand the language. Had to spell everything out letter by letter with is not an issue expect when I have to keep repeating the same thing multiple times. After finally getting my info straight I told him I needed a tow to a shop I booked an appointment at. When he came back off of hold he said he found a tow and mentioned the name I said I knew the name and it was fine to send him to tow the vehicle to the place I booked an appointment. He comes back on again and says so and so will be there in x amount of time to tow you to his shop. I told him that was incorrect and that I already booked an appointment. He seemed upset that he had to find a different company because the first tow booked only tows to his business. Then proceeded to blame me for the mix up. He said he would need to call me back when he found a tow. Waited about 15 minutes for a call back only to find out when he called to confirm the adress again he booked the tow to a completely different city after I gave him the exact address 3 times. When I mentioned that the address that he confirmed was not what I gave him once again that was my fault even though he transcribed the address wrong. By this time after dealing with this for almost 40 minutes and a tow still not being scheduled I asked for a manager just to try and get back on track. Was told he didn't have a manager and there where none in his office. I stated again I would like to speak to someone else and was told that someone would call me back. Before hanging up i asked him if a tow was scheduled he didn't say yes or no but again told me someone would call me back. After waiting another half hour with no response I called back. This time I spoke to a very helpful employee namd Elaine. I explained the issues I was having and she looked up the original conversation/ticket. When doing so she said Able never did anything more with my call. Never scheduled anyone to call me, never booked the tow. Just dropped it as if I never called. This was after over an hour since I first called. Luckily the car broke down in the garage. If I would have been broken down on the side of the road or had been in an accident this could have been a lot worse and possibly dangerous situation. Especially if I would have had a low battery or bad service and was thinking a tow was on the way. Anytime before when I had used roadside it rang directly to farm bureau roadside. This time I had to select between 2 different companies at the call center. If it wasn't for this experience I would give the office at least 4 stars.
