The woman who owns Copper Jewel is AMAZING!! We had a weekend booked and had to cancel last minute due to unforeseen medical circumstances. She was unbelievably accommodating and kind! Pamela is one of the "good ones" folks! If you see a negative mark on VRBO, it's ONLY because Pam fought for us to receive our full refund from VRBO. Book the Copper Jewel! You won't regret it :)

We stayed at the Copper Jewel after our trip to Isle Royale. It was a quick drive down from Copper Harbor in the cute historic town of Calumet. It was a comfortable and relaxing respite after our trip(has a sauna too!). A great location in the Keweenaw for exploring as it is only a short distance from Quincy Mine, Hancock and Houghton as well. Pam was more than accommodating and a wealth of knowledge about the area. Highly recommend!

Located in the heart of Copper Island, The Copper Gem is a fantastic place to stay. Pam is a throughly knowledgeable, helpful, personable host who catered to our group magnificently. If you're looking for a memorable Keweenaw experience, look no further!
