Lori,You are correct the memorial orders were submitted in August of 2018. The memorials were delivered to the cemetery at the end of Sept. 2019. This does seem like a long time, however the delay was caused by the layout for approval not being signed off on and approved by the purchaser, who was a different family member than you. We were given the go ahead on May 31, 2019 to proceed with the custom memorial. Delivery in Sept 2019 is a normal amount of time for custom monument like this.Our staff member who you worked, with in an interest to control costs (as you discussed your price concern with him), it was agreed upon to order the markers 4” high since the other memorials we were making similar to were sunken. If 100% duplication was the top priority the taller bevel would have been the correct choice from the beginning.We are very sorry we placed the monuments on the wrong spaces, this is never our intention, but it does occasionally happen if the cemetery does not specify locations for us. We did quickly remedy this and fix the location of the two monuments.As always, we have tried to do everything we can to set up correct expectations for your family and have made additional efforts to remedy your concerns. We want you to be satisfied with the monuments but we have done everything within reason to do that.

Joe,I am sorry you have had a difficult experience at a challenging time. I took a moment to look into the order Gerald placed with us. Although the order was placed on June 28th, we cannot begin engraving the memorial until we receive confirmation on the design and lettering. From my records we show the design was sent to Gerald around July 10th. As we explain with all orders, the time from design approval to the time the memorial can be delivered to the cemetery is 6 weeks. We received Gerald’s approval on August 8th, We delivered the monument on Sept. 13 which was within this timeline.The reason the monument was set on wood was due to the cemetery not pouring the concrete foundation by the time the monument was complete. The timeline of the foundation getting poured is something that is out of our control. It’s our opinion that it is best to deliver the monument to the cemetery regardless of the foundation being poured, so the family can see the memorial tribute to their loved one. Once we leave the memorial in the cemetery we check back on each trip to see when the foundation is in, once the foundation is installed we move the stone on to the foundation for it to be finally set.We were notified Friday, Sept 28th that the foundation was poured and cured so we could move the monument onto the foundation.
