Tom Herbig Floor Covering

Tom's workmanship was excellent. My bathroom shower looks great. Tom was there to do a good job. I would have him again.

So, so, disappointed! 2 years and still waiting for my flooring to be finished. I bought my home and asked for flooring to be installed before I moved in. It was installed - 6months later flooring started pulling apart . ( have loc in panels). Fast forward to spring of this year- Flooring redo- awful, dye lots dont match this was never brought to my attention- Tom ( the owner ) assumed I was okay with it because I said nothing. What???? I work, I pay him to tell me!! So, so many misses on his part. Tom: scheduled dates for call backs and contacting unreliable, poor planning. He is unorganized - he brought a transition piece thinking it would match- No it did not- why would he NOT have a picture of the flooring on his phone to compare? I have decided not to have my home disrupted any longer. I requested a refund of services he did not deliver needless to say.. We work hard for our money- I shall be wiser in the future. So disappointed.

Cant believe a person like this is still in business. Hired Tom Herbig back in January to install a bathroom shower using glass tile. He ask for $1900.00 down for materials and to secure a time frame. He said he could do the install starting April 4th. He also advised us that we did not need the marble boarder for the shower doors to mount too, Stating the company he has used before good drill the tile without breaking. Which The Tile Shop advised not to do. But we took his word for it. On April 4, Joe Cramer his partner should up for a whole 45 mins then left and sent me a message stating that something came up and would not return. This was common for the next three weeks, not showing up or leaving after a short period of time. This might have been fine if the job was done correctly. Once work began it was apparent that Tom struggled to do the install chipping the tile glass, wasnt able to keep grout lines straight, and a shampoo holder that was at least 1/2 inch sticking away from the wall. He also had to replace the show floor for how poor it was installed the first time. When it was time for measurements for glass doors the company Tom advised us to use stated that they were reluctant to install on glass. Called two other companies and both stated the same thing. We had a meeting with Tom and Joe to discuss our displeasure with the job. In the meeting Tom told us that he didnt believe he could do the job to our standards. At this point we ask that he refund us the money for the tile and he could keep his $1900.00 for labor. He refused!! We are now stuck with a total tear out and redo.
