        Visiting colleges, this was the perfect spot for us to stay between Michigan State and the University of Michigan. The hotel is clean & bright, and I figured it was recently renovated. I later learned it has been five years since renovation. Their cleaning staff definitely does an amazing job, because this place is immaculate. Nice, comfortable rooms. Warm & inviting lobby. Nice breakfast area and good breakfast food. I was especially impressed by Jill at the front desk who was so friendly and then went above and beyond to text me and even call my room to tell me that my car headlights were on! She really saved the day. I highly recommend selecting this hotel if you are in the area!

        The gal who works behind the front desk in the evening named Jill deserves a raise. She was literally by herself from the time we checked in (approximately 4pm) until close to midnight. There was a fun but rowdy crowd in the lobby the entire time watching March Madness. They werent doing anything wrong but lets just say they were keeping her on her toes. She handled it like a saint. And she was still busy running from room to room unclogging toilets and giving guests soap. All with a smile on her face. Thank you Jill and to the powers that be - please recognize what an incredible and rare employee you have on your hands.
