        I inquired about renting a slip here, and was asked to send $6500 to an address prior to getting a contract. When I explained how this made me uncomfortable, I was told they typically don't send contracts and they have high demand. I tried to explain that based on some of the negative reviews/informal dock talk that I'd heard, I just wanted to see a contract first so I could understand their terms/conditions, and then would happily wire full payment immediately. Upon saying that, I was told this marina was not a good fit for me, and was not going to be able to rent a slip for the season. Very unusual way to conduct business.

        Website says open, was noon. We were there at 3:00. Drove from Charlevoix. Turns out they dont open until five according to kitchen staff which was only person there. We even called to confirm but got nowhere in a closed-loop of voicemail. Went to Cafe Sante.
