        We took our cat Mittens to them on Easter Sunday, we were pretty sure he had a stroke. They took us back right away. They wasted no time caring for Mittens, unfortunately we had to say goodbye to him that day. The staff were absolutely wonderful, this is our second cat weve taken there for emergency services and they went above and beyond for both. They sent a beautiful sympathy card with an actual hand written message, so very thoughtful. Highly recommend this place.

        They charged 5x the price of another vet for the same operation, 30% more than their own "good-faith effort" estimate "totally accurate to within a +/- 15% range" (their words) even though he was released earlier than the estimate

        I love OVRS! My pets tend to get rare and/or complicated issues and they have always handled them with ease. We have visited nearly every department over the last 8 years - emergency, critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, surgery, behavior, and radiology - and always receive compassionate and timely care regardless of which service we are visiting. Thank you for offering specialty and emergency care for our area! We are so lucky to have you. Special thanks to all of the doctors, techs, and assistants that have taken such wonderful care of my loved ones! My family and I have enjoyed many additional years of quality time with each of them because of you. Warmly, Roseanne, Anna, Finn, and those who have left for the rainbow bridge already (Mila, Ferguson, Max, and Jude)

        I cant recommend this facility more. They treated both of my senior dogs with such grace and kindness. Brittany is an absolute saint - her comfort and compassion was a blessing. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

        Dr. Rowe was so kind and compassionate with our dog. He took much time to discuss her disease and all possible options and even consulted oncology department. He called us back at 7pm that day. He made sure we understood all options for her and never rushed in explaining to us. We so appreciate his advice and truthfulness. What an excellent vet!

      Kiwi, you are aware that OVRS is not a regular veterinary hospital. We're a top level 24/7 certified emergency and critical care facility. Our hospital has equipment, staffing, etc. ready to handle any emergency and our pricing is, therefore, higher than a regular veterinary hospital. Especially for diagnostic testing that most veterinary hospitals can't afford to have on hand. I am concerned though that you say the actual charge was 30% more than the estimate. You weren't given an updated estimate or made decisions that included tests or procedures not included in the estimate?
