He has saved our family! It has been so many years of finding help and the right medication. My daughter has seen several therapists/Psychiatrists and Dr. Silverman finally got to the root of the cause and treated accordingly. I feel like I have my daughter back. She has been consistently smiling, made new friends, got a job and even stays even-keeled. We are so happy and our house is so much less chaotic. I no longer feel in constant fight or flight. Thank you, Dr. Silverman!

This is a terrible office they are not compassionate understanding or a genuine practice . They do not give you proper information when you schedule appointments and their policies are very disgustingly harsh .

I was referred to Dr. Silverman for a foster placement psych eval for a 4 year old. The child is not comfortable around strangers at all. I couldn't believe when Dr. Silverman took her hand it was like his complete demeanor changed and she trusted him. She spent almost a full hour with him and was totally comfortable. By the time I came in, he had her writing and doing puppets. I also spent some time with him for a pre-interview and I absolutely loved his style. While we were there to discuss my foster placement, he seemed to "see me". I don't know how to explain it other than that. It was like I was naked and he saw my soul (not in a weird way). Anyways, I don't often leave reviews, but this doctor is clearly very good at what he does. I tend to appreciate a direct personality and he is that (which is what I assume someone should desire if they are looking for a good doctor). I highly recommend him. Adult or child.

I myself am not a patient of Dr. Mark Silverman, but my sister saw him yesterday for the first time. After her appointment, my 34 year old sister called me sobbing, asking if I thought she was a good person, because the "good" doctor doubted the fact she could stop drinking, was very critical and distrustful of the fact that my sister had never called in sick to work because of her drinking, and THREATENED TO PUT HER IN A DETOX FACILITY. HER FIRST VISIT! What kind of "bedside" manner is that? She was always willing to stop drinking as he suggested, though again, he seemed very distrustful of that fact. She has since found a much more compassionate, and still thoroughly honest, doctor elsewhere. ALSO BEWARE: should you dare to take a sip of your beverage to calm yourself down, don't worry. He'll wait for you to take the sip, because obviously, you can't sip and listen to him at the same time.
