This company ripped me off and the owner is totally indifferent. In heavy rain, I have a drainage issue on my front walkway. After receiving a flyer in my mailbox, I contracted with Stone Yard to install an adequate catch basin and 15 ft. of 4 inch drain pipe in my front yard. Without my knowledge, they installed 1inch pipe, instead of 4 inch as promised, and a tiny plastic catch basin which is completely inadequate to handle any heavy rain. They unsuccessfully attempted to bury the pipe before I had a chance to see it. The price they quoted was very exorbitant, however they offered a $75 discount and I mistakenly thought at my age I should get a professional job rather than do it myself. That was my big mistake. Now I'm very sorry I ever heard of this dishonest, fraudulent company. They failed to restore our yard and left a terrible mess for me to clean up. They shrewdly insisted on payment in advance. Now, not only am I out the money paid to them, but the drainage problem is unresolved and my yard in worse condition than before. The owner of the company is totally indifferent and only concerned about getting all of his money, in advance. I've never previously written a bad review about a company, but my sad experience with Stone Yard's owner convinces me that the company is dishonest, deceitful and fraudulent. The owner proved to me to be unprofessional and a cheat. If there was a rating below 1 star I'd give it. Buyer Beware.
