I dont even know where to start Ms.Kauten is GOD SENT!! This is the best attorney in Michigan. She will fight to the end for you, and make sure you WHAT YOU DESERVE! I went through a nasty custody battle for 2 years, with things not looking my way after receiving FOC recommendation that didnt favor me. Ms.Kauten still took on my case (2 weeks from trial), and went into trial - and won it! Thank you Ms.Kauten!!!

Attorney Kauten is professional and will stand her ground. She is extremely passionate and realistic. She responds to you in a very timely manner and will listen to you, but will still give you her professional opinion and advice. She has done an absolute phenomenal job representing me in my family law case. Her office staff is friendly, prompt and professional. I would absolutely recommend her practice.

She was representing a person who has at this time has two defamation of character, claiming I posted twice that he was stalking me but I didn't post that he was stalking me at all, the post I gave to my attorney said he pulled into my driveway sat in his running vehicle! She stopped right then and there, I have a relative that hired her and he told me the da said for his case she charged him for copies and other letters but didn't let them know about court hearing about their case and they were defaulted and had to pay their daughter who sued them and had to sell their house to pay the default judgment! She has no criminal experience that I have witnessed and with that she has no experience with other types of cases!
