Laptop was running super slow. Dropped it off here and told he would look at it. Checked back in a week and told there's still 9 machines ahead of me. Checked back the next week and told the "repair guy" only comes in twice a week and mine was still in line. Checked back the next week and told he'd been sick but they'd get to it by the next week. Came in to get it (actually 8 days) later and it still hadn't been touched. Took it home, rather have a slow one than none.

First off let me say the owner is nice enough but I took my computer here roughly three weeks ago for a sporadic overheating issue when it was under load. I figured while Im having him work on it Id ask to have the RAM upgraded to 32GB. I was initially told it would be roughly 3 days. He didnt look at it for about a week. He said it wasnt having any issues, but hed replace the thermal paste for it. After three weeks waiting for this thing to be done I had to go get it. I was falling behind on my classes and work so it couldnt wait any longer to have this thing back. Upon turning it on it immediately overheats just from booting. I called him and told him and once again he tells me it wasnt having an issue which clearly isnt the case. He said I could bring it back the next day and hed look at it again. I just paid $120 for some RAM he didnt install and thermal paste that wasnt applied correctly. Three weeks. Picture of the thermal paste provided courtesy of the other repair guy. Edit: I took it to a guy in Cadillac and it was fixed in one day.
