Go somewhere else if you want personal service; if you want your agent to have your back - because "it's counter-productive" for them to communicate with you if you happen to miss a payment without realizing it. It doesn't matter if you've been a solid, paying client for several years. It's clear they just want to collect the premium from you then send you on your way.

When it was time to shop for a Medicare supplement plan I started getting lots of offers by mail and by phone. It wasn’t easy to sort out the legitimate offers from the scams. It was also difficult to get prices from most of the insurance companies. Pretty much every company required that in order to get prices, I would have to agree to be contacted by an agent who represented their company. Since I was already getting way too many phone calls from agents, it seemed like a really bad idea to invite even more phone calls. Lucky for me, a friend who had already been through the Medicare sign-up process suggested that I contact Seth Wenger. I had already decided on Medicare supplement Plan G, so Seth sent a list of the Plan G choices which he could provide. The list was exactly what I needed! The plans were listed by monthly cost, and also showed the charge for the one-time application fee. The list contained a few other interesting tidbits, such as the market share of each insurance company, and also each company’s financial stability rating. The list made it easy for me to see exactly how much each plan would cost, and to see which plan was the best choice for me. Eventually I went to Seth’s office to fill out the application. I found Seth to be easy to talk with. He answered my questions in a way that was easy to understand. The application was easy too. One thing I especially appreciated during the entire process was that there was never any pushiness. He never pressured me to buy other products. It’s a big relief to have my application submitted.
