Ms. Taylor, we were anticipating your review based on your outrageous behavior toward our staff. One thing that we won't tolerate is a crazy person yelling obscenities at us, not once but several times. You're a Realtor, does @ColdwellBankerSchmidt in Grand Rapids know how you treat folks? How about @MaryFreeBedGuild? They would be just as appalled as we were I'm certain - you were off the charts. What's worse is this was not our error. This is the first year that you asked us to install your dock. The only special instructions given were to raise the dock as high as it would go. We use satellite imagery and GPS to pinpoint the location of the docks and hoists that we install. Your dock was placed exactly where it has been for the last several years, earlier than expected, straight, level and ready to go. How were we supposed to know that within the last 45 days you had purchased the spare lot to the west of your property from your neighbor and would like your dock placed on the west property line? Seems simple enough, you just had to let us know. Nonetheless, when you called our office to let us know that the dock was placed in the "wrong" location, without hesitation we told you that we would be happy to move it, but it would be a couple of weeks or so before we could circle back to it as it was the week before Memorial Day. You even mentioned that you may just leave the dock as is this year and move it next year. For some reason you then found it necessary to call us nearly every day and scream obscenities at us, talk over us and hang up on us - for what reason? We believe it may have been over your (and I'll quote) "F***ing $280 thousand F***ing dollar boat" that needed to be delivered to which we suggested that your dock and hoist were 100% usable and to go ahead and have the boat delivered. We would simply float your boat off the hoist by hand, move the hoist 25' to the new location and place the boat back on it. By reading your review, you certainly didn't understand or more than likely didn't hear us as your were screaming and talking over us - you suggested that we would move the hoist with your boat on it, which is impossible and plain silly. In the end, we did move the dock and hoist to the west property line as you wanted within the period of time that we mentioned and before your precious boat was delivered. We install over 350 docks and hoist each spring, 99.7% of them successfully, without any additional adult supervision. We're sorry for any frustration that we may have caused you, it was certainly not intentional. Please call your "old" dock installer back, we would like to respectfully pass on all the drama.
