LoLoBee's is more than a coffee shop. It is the perfect creative place to unwind. When you come in there is art on the walls from local artists, there are comfy chairs and wide tables, there is a small bookshelf if you feel compelled to read or boardgames if you are bringing a group. The bathroom facilities are sparkling clean. And there are monthly events like musical guests and poetry jams. But what makes this place shine is their friendly staff. They make you feel like this is your home away from home. Their menu is top notch with muffins, coffee, tea and frappes. It is also a place where you can come and relax, play a few games on their Nintendo switch. Or you can connect with friends and artists. LoLoBee's has become the happening hot spot of bay city performers/creatives. Can you get a cup of coffee at places like Tim Horton's, McDonald's and Starbucks? Sure. But those places are so in a hurry to get you out the door you barely have any time to think. Also, Lolobees coffee tastes better. I find that I go there to get my favorite drink and muffin and write for 90 minutes. It is cozy and clean and great for the community.
