Jenille is an absolutely amazing photographer! She exceeded my expectations. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Which, I believe, is essential for a good photoshoot. Especially when I was pregnant and then postpartum for my photoshoots. Although different in nature, Jenille brought her same calm, focused, and loving energy. Shes very precise and at the same time fluid with her technique. Looking at our photos, you can't detect my perinatal tiredness. Our photos are warm, energetic, full of love and life. Candid, vivid and expressive I love seeing us through her lens *tears*. Jenille is brilliant and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Jenille took my photos one month postpartum with my sweet daughter and did an amazing job. Not only were her photos absolutely fantastic (and hung up all over my house), she made me feel so beautiful and powerful which is so hard when you're just one month postpartum adjusting to your new body. Her turnaround is really quick and she's so easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Jenille from Nell Boss Photography is who you want by your side during your motherhood journey. An intuitive doula, vision-oriented photographer, and insightful advocate, shes been the ultimate harbinger for my journey. She has patiently and gracefully guided me through many crucial stages: pre-delivery anxiety, the excitement and complexities of delivery, a physically and emotionally intense 4th trimester, and the every day realities of being a first-time mom. Alongside all of that, she has captured each stage beautifully with her camera. Honest, gripping, poetic photography that captures the true story and emotion of each moment. A few examples from my journey: The first time Jenille came to my home to help prepare me for giving birth, I was nervous and unsure about everything I was getting ready to experience. She walked into our home, looked at me and hugged me - a strong, deep, knowing embrace. I knew then that I was in great hands. (Theres something about her hugs that calms the entire world around you down.) During her first visit, Jenille and her colleague Jennifer Mason, listened to me and really heard what I was trying to express. They patiently answered all of my questions, and anticipated everything my husband and I would need to know. They directly and proactively addressed my fears and anxieties. And they connected me with other experts whenever my inquiries were outside of their purview. Because I function best with a plan, they indulged me and walked me through developing a plan that I felt good about, but they both stressed flexibility because birth rarely goes according to plan. They were right. When my daughter was ready to make her arrival into this world, nothing went according to plan. Jenille was there to hold my hand through every step of delivery. She advocated for me with the medical team. She advised me, honoring the wishes I had already expressed. She knew when to jump in, keeping my pain managed, keeping me calm, even hydrated, and when to fall into the background so that my husband and sister could comfort me. And she captured each critical moment with her camera. Although I had done quite a bit to prepare, when I arrived home, I felt more lost than I ever knew I would and for longer than I could have imagined. Jenille and Jennifer helped nurse me back to health and helped me learn how to care for my daughter - proactively reaching out to me, sometimes several times daily when I needed the support. Stopping by to just check in on us. Connecting us with doctors, midwives, other doulas and experts in breastfeeding and postpartum care. I felt so well-nurtured and cared for until I finally felt closer to being myself physically again. When Jenille stopped by, she intuitively just took out her camera and Im so glad she did. Some of those early moments are such a blur, but Im always happily transported back to my first few days and weeks with my daughter when I periodically glance at our pictures. Ive since contracted with Jenille to capture additional mommy and me moments as well as family moments. Always up for the challenge, shes delivered beyond what I dreamed up in every single engagement. What Ive learned through working with Jenille is: whenever Ive shared my vision, whether its for my birth experience or for a dream picture thats stuck in my head, shes open to figuring out how to make it happen for me. Jenille is curious, intuitive, insightful, wise, great at her crafts, she always delivers, and she always makes me feel so powerful!
