I had a great experience with Dominic, who helped secure my mortgage. However, the phone customer service is terrible. Nice people but they don't listen to the issue, just jump to random solutions which turn out to be incorrect. I'm currently on my 10th call of a still unresolved issue...

I had the best experience with Gold Star Mortgage Financial. My lender April was absolutely best. She had sure that understand every part of the process and made sure it was stress and worry free. April was very professional and helpful in every way. If and when I had to do this again, I would definitely without hesitation ask for April. She went far and beyond to make my dream come true. Thanks you for everything you have done.

Ron out of Ann Arbor was a huge help in allowing us to win our new home and secure our mortgage. This is our third home purchase and this went as smoothly was we could have ever of hoped. Ron took the time to call the seller's agent to make sure they understood why our offer was contingent but yet we were very real and very serious buyers and were solid in our offer. I don't think we would have gotten the house without that extra reassurance.

One problem after another, from the closing through them changing payment addresses on me 3 times in 4 months and them losing a payment (which has required me to spend 1-2 hours of my time tracking it down for them).

It looks like they have 4.5 stars because of how they were as a company SEVEN YEARS AGO. They are the ABSOLUTE WORST mortgage company to deal with. My mortgage got purchased out by wells fargo back in November of 2020. I did not ONCE receive a letter, email, or phone call on my statement whatsoever. I have called in multiple times within the last 3 months to see how I can pay my mortgage. You would think once I get a statement I pay correct? Wrong. I was only offered the option to pay over the phone, and consistently get told they can just send me a receipt. Not to mention the "Wonderful" service and attitude you will get once on the phone with someone. If you ever have the opportunity to work with this company, don't.
