A well designed building with a good mix of team, open and private study spaces. It can be busy and more noisy than a library generally gets during the day, but I've found it a really excellent place to study in off-peak hours eg before 9am. Upsides: the design and mix of learning spaces. Downsides: lack of quiet areas during the day, windows-only workstations; the library staff can come across as bored and at times unhelpful.

Nice architecture of the building and very beautifully designed study spaces to have privacy and for one to study alone. Computers and printers provided throughout the library and in all floor levels for students' convenience. Couches, lamps, chairs, tables, extension cords, plugging points available at every cubicle and seating spaces for convenience of students. A variety of magazines available on every rack..both for entertainment as well as for learning. The library also has the facility of issuing books to students for a certain time period and get it extended by students if required. It also offers the option of getting books from other libraries within the University or in other campuses like Dearborn & Flint campuses and allowing students to collect their requested books from this library. The Dude library is open throughout the year..365/366 days a year X 24 hours a day X 7 days a week. The only thing that bothers me is - there's no bus stop right in front of the library or a little closer. For boarding a university bus or a city bus, one has to walk a long long way to get to the nearby bus stop.
