The U of M Hospital is so big u could get lost in there, need directions given to u at the check in desk just to find out where your going

While it was a convenient stay being so close to my son. I wish they took safety a bit more seriously. This past week we had a stay at the med inn. The rooms were clean and they provided a pack and play. However, when my husband went to take a shower we found that the pipe under the tub had a leak in it. When you stepped into the shower it felt like walking on a water bed all of the stagnant water underneath the tub just hanging out and leaking and causing the tub to pull from the wall. When my husband asked staff about it he was told to finish shower and they'd come dry the floor. A new room wasnt offered or anything. So I did not shower during our stay. We also had to drain the water from the tub with a bathroom trashcan into the sink. Come to find out the sink was also backed up so that took awhile to do. Also the cabinet for the refrigerator was hanging by one bracket. I brought this back up again upon check out and they never offered a refund or a discount. I recieved a "thanks, I let maintenance know" other than that for the rooms being outdated they were otherwise clean. Room 510 beware

We have unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you see it have needed to stay here a number of times. Nice lodging inside the hospital for those requiring extended stays. Very convenient and great staff.

Very Clean and friendly staff. The best place to be if you have a family member that is staying at the hospital for a length of time.
