My girlfriend went to Ashleys yesterday (4/6) and had a poor customer service experience. The hostess was very rude to my girlfriend and that experience made her feel unwelcome. This makes us hesitant to come here again, and we have been here several times before. The food and service was great during previous visits.

Great craft beer bar and restaurant in downtown Ann Arbor. Hosts special tasting events from time to time.

Wheelchair accessibility: Steep incline up to door, very narrow entryway through first door, followed by a second door -- the manager helped us opening the door; there are no brass stoppers at bottom of doors to keep them propped so it was a three person activity wheeling my elderly mum in but then three men dining there jumped up to help her up the step to the front window table. One large step up to the front window-facing dining with sunlight, otherwise dining room is accessible and dark pub-y atmosphere. Didn't use the wheelchair-access bathroom but I'm told it's in the back. There are other bathrooms down a ~16 step flight of stairs. Host stored the wheelchair somewhere in the back while we dined.

Came here for late lunch after visiting UMich. Place was pretty empty and service was quick. We had the Boss (friend chicken burger), Texan burger, fried Brussels sprouts and fried cod sandwich - all were really good. Place looked like a typical bar and can imagine it being packed on the weekends.
