I really like my Dr but it's next to impossible to communicate with the receptionist. She kept telling me that I have no insurance because she "ran my social security number and it's inactive".. I tried telling her that it's under my mom's social security number due to the fact that I receive Medicare(and the additional dental insurance that I pay for annually..) through disability survivors benefits and that it would be under my mom's social security number. She continued to speak over me the entire time and even passive-aggressively tried to attack my dead mother by saying "well, go ask your mom, she must know something I don't." And that's literally the point I was trying to make it that I have additional information, which she's obviously unaware of but she refuses to listen to any of the words that were coming out of my mouth. People know things she doesn't and rather than trying to learn all the necessary information she just talks over to repeatedly tell you you're wrong now I remember why it took me 2 years to follow up with my Dr... but yeah, I've been on the phone with my insurance company extensively over the last few months, as I've had routine dental work done at my family dentist, and even know the amount of benefits left for this year (close to $3000), so I have no idea where she gets her information or arrogance but it's something, alright... it's at least kind of impressive that she could nail the point and completely miss it simultaneously. Rating the Dr alone I'd give 5 stars but the receptionist would be zero stars, so, I had to even it out somehow.

After years of dental work... 5k in one sitting. My teeth remained the same color. One cavity at this clinic, and now I have a silver tooth. They didn't tell me what color the filling would be. Not only is the filling silver, but it has a gap in it. DO NOT GET DENTAL WORK HERE! I recommend the dental school at UofM

Performed an unnecessary procedure without informing me it wouldn't be covered by my insurance. After contesting the bill and being given the runaround, I was eventually told the charge would be withdrawn. Now I'm getting hounded by a collection agency. Extremely scammy business practices.

Spent three months trying to get an appointment, only to have them close shop on me when I FINALLY get hold of someone in the office. Thanks for letting me know.
