I called this company several times for concrete work at my home.  They never returned my call, not once.  So if you are not a high roller, don't bother wasting your time with this company.

This is a review for Parris Construction. They removed and replaced the crumbly concrete steps to our front porch. Deann Parris drove out to our home in Burns Park, provided an estimate by email, and he and a co-worker replaced the steps promptly after I emailed him a signed agreement. The work was professional. They caulked the joints and sealed the steps. Thorough clean up. One year warranty. Honest and reliable. Fair price. This is an old-school Ann Arbor business. We recommend them highly.

Waste of time! I called for a quote a two weeks ago. They called back and scheduled it for April 23rd. I sent several emails before the estimate to let them know the details of the project, what the city requires, issues that might arise with the project and our timeline. They had no problems with that.The estimator came out on Tuesday April 23rd and said" todays Tuesday, you should have your price on Thursday". I said he was the last person to bid and we were ready to hire and we wanted to make a decision asap as everyone is getting backed up with work. It's now Saturday April 27th with NO price! I even emailed on Friday April 26th asking where the price is.UDPDATE: 4/28/19 they contacted me and I copied what their email said: Hi Mike,Our schedule has filled up already for the next few months.  We will be unable to quote your work at this time.  We thank you for the opportunity. I NEVER was in any hurry to do the job. I told them I was ready to hire someone asap to get on their schedule whether its next week or 2-5 months from now as I know contractors are busy. They came here and looked at it, but don't give a price. Whats the point of even doing that? IF you want to waste your time then call them. Otherwise call someone else

Argon took on the massive project of building a full guest house on our property (for my mom) when the prior contractor bailed. Left with unfinished blueprints, the Argon crew worked with us to complete the plan, offer recommendations to improve function and form, and handled communications with third-party contractors for us. Working with the company's expert crew, the building process was smooth, comfortable and far less stressful than I could have imagined. The crew worked not for us, but WITH us, serving as a partner who truly cared about the quality of work, our timeline, and the final product (which is beautiful). We didn't have to go outside of Argon to finish the project...that is how amazing they are to work with. They stepped in to communicate with other vendors because they understand the language; we never had to translate. In the world of construction, it's difficult to find a contractor that offers superior craftsmanship, fair rates, and is responsive throughout the process. The consistent communication with the project foreman and office manager gave us peace of mind throughout the entire build. I can't say enough good things about this company. They are now our go-to. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would!
