This place just came up to my mind and I searched on google and NO WONDER there are terrible reviews. I've lived several years ago and the building manager was just indifferent to construction noises. Can't study at home, the building is old, takes your security deposit, and the manager even writes fake review for himself - you can find his name on google review, lol

I definitely wouldn't recommend the place, they increased rent 15% after one year. They did so after multiple months of not letting me know if I could renew the lease. They advertised one price then reneged on lease renewal. After delaying lease renewal for what if I remember correctly was multiple months, they changed the rent to a very high price. The apartment is low quality too, with everything being old. The only ventilation is from the bathroom fan.

They raised the rent only to give us broken plumbing and constant loud maintenance in return. Legitimately my experience here has been worse since the rent raise; need a refund.

I just got done living here after staying for two years. The maintenance is very fast and reliable and the front desk staff is always nice. During my lease my refrigerator stopped working and I contacted Brian Tamsic and within 4 days I had a new fridge. Also on top of this I got my full security deposit back. The only downside building wise is the laundry. Some of the dryers don't seem to work that well but I'm sure they will be replaced or fixed at some point.
