Traver Ridge Apartments

While I have not stayed at these apartments, I will say that as a prospective tenant I had an absolutely wonderful time meeting and touring with the sales associate Rozlyn. She was very personable and accommodating, gave us insights into other McKinley properties, and made me want to live at Traver Heights. If I was to go back I would ask for Roz!

I was planning on everything being completely finalized after my move out to write a review and I was prepared to talk about how great and well managed everything has been. But now theyre trying to ghost me on my security deposit. Theres been some change in management and this is not the Traver Ridge Ive known and loved. They wont answer calls or emails. Theyre way past the 30 days after move out that they are required as a landlord to send the security deposit over. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, because as Ive said they were so great in my experience there, but I may have to seek alternative routes to get my security deposit back. UPDATE 10/3: After many, many, many times of reaching out, they finally sent me the security deposit. It came over 2 months late. In Michigan, if a security deposit is 45+ days late, landlord owes you double. To everyone in the reviews who has experienced this same problem, use this information how you will. The check was cancelled and never cleared, so I never got my security deposit. Update 11/16: I contacted the attorney generals office and got a reply from the senior vice president David Peabody. He said a bunch of things that directly contradicted my claims and what my evidence showed, then he offered to send me another check but he never sent one.
