This is a beautiful in-and-out trail along the river. The trail is more narrow with weeds leaning into the trail, so not the best trail for small children. Our four year old still did fine, but there was some frustration about things tickling her. There were also some areas with poison ivy along the trail so it made it more important to keep her on the trail. Lots of beautiful things to stop and admire so worth a visit, but be prepared if hiking with small children!
