Remember, three stars means it's ok. We came in after a hockey game at DCU w/a large party. There was a wait, not long though. Service was fast w/water or bottled/canned bevies & fountain drinks, slow w/mixed drinks, glacial w/coffee. The apps were good, great price for what we got. A few of our main items were over sauced or accidentally sauced w/balsamic but every issue was rectified. People (more than one customer) changed their kids pampers at the table. Idk if there isn't a changing station in the loos or that's ok in this area but the atmosphere smelled bad a few times. Also the TVs were on but can't hear it in the cramped corner we were put into. $250.00 for 7 people (Early spring 2024, 7mains, one sampler platter app, three mixed drinks, two coffees, two canned drinks, one bottled) again, ok. I wouldn't choose it in the future BUT if I had to go again, it could be made to work. Also the wicked hot pickles or super hot pickles whatever are stinking hot I almost died but I loved it and I may return for those if I can't find them in shops :) Kid-friendliness: I didn't view this place as a family restaurant, but a lot of people had kids. They had high chairs I know because someone asked for one in our little room area. I think of it more as elevated pub grub, I'm sure you can always find something for a small person to enjoy.

We've been to the Boynton a few times with our family over the years when we've visited Worcester. Each time we find something new to love about it. The service is always great, the location and parking is convenient, and the food is consistently good. This trip I thoroughly enjoyed the fried fisherman's combo platter. It was FANTASTIC! I even ate the potato wedges which were a nice addition instead of regular fries. The tartar sauce was on point which can make or break any fried fish meal. My husband loved the burger of the month. Our daughter had the fried mozzarella. The marinara sauce was delicious. The cheesy garlic flatbread was tasty, but a bit greasy. Our son ate two hot dogs and left quite happy. Although we were extremely full, we shared a slice of cheesecake which was great as well. The shining star, however, was the apple brown Betty. Overall, we had a great experience at the Boynton! Kid-friendliness: The casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and the variety of food options make this a great place for guests with children.
