March 1996 I came to the USA from the UK not knowing I was pregnant ,my first appt was at st Vincent hospital,I had to be checked for diabetes not knowing what gestational diabetes was I normally missed my appointment. I remember she called me herself to ask why I was not there, I told her I could not get a ride to come, she called me a taxi being so worried abt my condition. I was put on insulin till I was induced. She was there every step of the way and also delivering my second born who had the cod around her neck, she really was heaven sent. My daughter is 26yrs old and my son is 23yrs old now. I miss her very much,now relocated back to my country Ghana I still remembers her I always have her in my prayers never forgetting her.
