As a first-time customer I ordered 6 cords log length from Northeast Tree this summer, and could not recommend them highly enough. Friendly and professional, they delivered to Lexington and carefully placed the 8 to 12' logs where I wanted them in my back yard. All high-quality oak and maple. WOW! I'm going right back to Northeast Tree next time I need firewood.

Ill save you some trouble right now: youre going to hire these guys, and youre going to be happy you did. My father owned and operated a tree service in Stowe, VT for 45 years - I grew up in this business. So when I say that Northeast Tree is one of the best operations Ive ever seen, Im making a statement born of experience. I first found them through their father, who delivered my firewood. He was about the nicest guy you could imagine. Later, his lovely daughter Pam came by to quote removing the four ugly pine trees we had towering over our home out back. The price was great and she was candid about their backlog. Were about six weeks out - is that OK? (I can understand now why they were well-booked). Lastly her brother Jim (the young one) showed up six weeks later with a crane and a crew of six. I thought theyd be there all day but they are so experienced they finished the work in half that time. They took down the trees, chipped them, then cleaned up every scrap and disappeared without a trace. (The cop on traffic duty said hed seen them work a lot - Northeast is popular - they do great work and they give fair prices). Honestly if I had more trees to cut down Id hire them back in a heartbeat. They run an outstanding operation, and Im totally satisfied with the entire transaction. My hat is off to them.
