Claire Castagno at Compass Realty is by far the most disappointing realtor I've ever worked with. She provided minimal assistance, merely handling the offers I specifically requested her to compile. Her responsiveness was abysmal, and her communication style was not only unclear but almost cryptic. Shockingly, she failed to consult us before presenting an offer, leaving us stunned by the unexpected expenses when we signed the Purchase and Sale agreement. What's more, she didn't inquire about our preferences but instead imposed a 5% payment without discussion. When I questioned her about this assumption later, she responded dismissively with a "don't you have it?" attitude. Despite boasting 15 years of real estate experience, her lack of knowledge became evident when I was out of state and asked about the feasibility of remote closing, to which she suggested an electronic option that turned out to be impossible. To add to the disappointment, Claire neglected to provide the customary congratulatory card or housewarming gift that most new homeowners receive. In light of this experience, I firmly believe Claire doesn't deserve a single penny from the sale of the house I just purchased. I would strongly advise against working with her and will not be recommending her to anyone. Please reconsider before engaging Claire's services.
