A+ work. Very pleased. Just showed it off to friends and family who are also impressed. Chris responded quickly when we contacted him for an estimate and he worked it out to get the rooms done within a very tight window for us, before my son's wedding. He was always available on the phone, and at our house every day painting or checking in with his guys in-person. Chris wasn't going to stop until it was perfect and we couldn't ask for better results. Kudos to his team, too, for also being committed to doing a great job and to everyone's painting skills to accomplish it. Our prior wall covers were not easy colors to cover! We found Chris and his team professional, hardworking, and very personable on top of it. We have plans for him to paint more rooms.

Hate to be one of the few here leaving a negative review, but I have to be honest. I was not impressed with the work that Chris did at my home. I needed to have my whole house painted and he came over in August 2023 to take measurements and check everything. I told him that if the job can wait until December 2023 due to me being on vacation, that would be best. He said not a problem and told me that it would be him and two other guys doing the job. He quoted the price to me and it was all good. December 2023 comes around and he comes over on the day we agreed to start painting. He tells me that he had to fire the last two guys because not enough work. That meant he was on his own to paint my entire house which is 1500sq ft roughly. That's not okay. He quoted me on the price while he still had the two other guys, so for him to fire them before a big job like this is not okay. Now why this review is negative is because the 3rd day on the job, he arrived 20-30 minutes late, took a 2 hour and 15 minute break, when he said he'd be back in 1 hour, then even left early that day. I ended up nixing the basement with him because it would have taken him another 2 weeks to probably finish. After that, I noticed he was starting to halfass the job and some things I noticed over the next several months were not even painted. Behind the fridge, behind the toilet. This is supposed to be professional work. Overall I was just not impressed and wanted to be honest about this.

Hi Mark, I'm very sorry this was your experience with us. The circumstances regarding letting go of painters was beyond my control due to cancellations and postponing of projects that were scheduled for after yours. I was very transparent and communicative about everything with you from the day I started your project. Being the sole owner and lead/sole painter in that case, there were a lot places I had to be, which caused the delay in the progression of your project. For that, I truly apologize. That being said, with the color(s) that were chosen, an additional 1-2 coats was needed for almost your entire home (which I did not charge you for). There were days I stayed late to make up time and came in on a Saturday, which is my family time. Despite this set back, and with help from 2 painters who were kind enough to come help, I was able to paint every room on the first and second floor of your home (including multiple accent walls that I also didn't charge you extra for) in about 7 days total. I expressed to you on the last day I was there that, If there's anything that I might have missed or doesn't look right, that I will come back for free to touch it up (Back in December when it was done). Furthermore, my pricing does not differ dependent on how many painters I have. It is a set price (which I gave you a 10% discount on) according to the work that needs to be done. I was well within the week and a half timeline I had estimated ahead of starting. I sincerely do apologize for my tardiness and I gladly extend the offer to come remedy the areas you mentioned free of charge.

Chris and his team recently did some work for us and we couldn't say enough good things about them. Two of the rooms that we needed painted belonged to our kids and were originally painted about 20 years ago. In one room, each of three walls were a different vivid color with the last one painted in a black and white checkerboard pattern. There were multiple holes from where we removed attached shelves and a couple that the kids managed to hide behind some posters. Chris gave us a great price and jumped right on the job. Despite the challenging colors, Chris completed the job in record time and stayed on budget. The end result was beautiful and Chris even came back after the carpet was installed to do touchups. Overall, we were very happy and plan to use Chris and his team again as we still have the rest of the house to go through. We would highly recommend Stop n Stare Painting!!
