I brought my cat Turbo in last night urgently because I found that he wasn't urinating. (He has feline urinary disease so he can get blockages). They took him right in and everyone from the front desk to the vet herself was fabulous. They went over every detail of his care plan and let me know pricing all up front so there was no surprises. Thankfully it was just flare up and they gave him fluids and sent me home with some pain medication. I was in and out within an hour and they really truly care for your pet just as you would. Thank you so much NEAMC!

I recently visited NEAMC and was less than impressed with the experience. I brought in my 6-month-old puppy for a cough/gagging. The Dr thought it was Kennel cough but wanted to run some test to be sure. I was told it would be a couple hours and they would call me. After 4 hours I called, the response "She is resting comfortably and there are a few more test that need to be done." I am thinking she was sedated and resting waiting on more tests......NOPE. After 8 hours I call again I was told the same spiel. I asked what actually had been done and that question was dodged. Again, I ask what was done. Vital signs is the answer i got. The vital signs were done when I was there 8 hours prior. Absolutely nothing was done, and she sat in a kennel for 8 hours. NO communication at all. I was charged $300.00 for nothing to be done and was discharged with an antibiotic and a med that said, "cough pill" (Only because I asked for meds when I said I was coming to get her.) The visit was a waste of time and money. Only good thing that came out of this is I saved $1300.00 on all the tests because I went and picked her up after 8 hours of nothing. I completely understand it's an emergency facility but when the parking lot is empty, and most of the staff is hanging out at the front desk and cannot communicate that's poor care. I suggest you head to VCA South Shore Weymouth Animal Hospital.

I found the facility to be 'Hospital' Clean. All the staff I interacted with were kind and sympathetic to me and my pet's situation. I was made aware of my dog's situation thoroughly. I would like to sincerely thank them for their kindness, and sympathy towards us, and I would most definitely refer them to friends and family. Thank you; Sincerely Michael St. Jean.
