Mu Lan Taiwanese Restaurant (Waltham)

This Taiwanese restaurant is a gem in town, with its delicious food! The overall quality of the dishes is exceptional, particularly the shredded beef with long hot chili pepper, eggplant with basil, and orange-flavored chicken. Its definitely one of my favorites.

This is the best Taiwanese restaurant. Healthy, home-cooked food, Yo! Lee! It's different from other Chinese food that usually has a fast food feel. Highly recommended.

My family has been going here for a long time. There have been times when dishes werent as good as we expected them to be, but for the most part their food is good. My favorite dishes are the vegetarian leek pie (its not really leek, its a vegetable called , chinese chives), any dumplings, smoked taiwanese-style duck, moo shi, bean curd with green mustard, chinese squash with nagaimo, and pork and pickled napa hotpot. I like their eggplant with pork or basil, but sometimes theres way too much oil (the eggplant will be swimming in oil soup). I also prefer my beef scallion pancake rolls with scallion inside, not leek, so I would keep that in mind if thats a dish you order at other restaurants. Anyway, I recommend ordering different dishes to see what you like! Their menu is quite extensive.
