Sona Tacvorian, DMD

I needed a new dentist during the pandemic I felt safe going to. Dr. T's office was spotless clean and has medical grade air purifiers around every corner. I saw her for my mouth guard for my TMJ and adjustments as my mouth settled into it. She's very knowledgeable, compassionate, and made me feel welcome every time I visited.

So I have been nervous to go back to the dentist for a while, and recently had my arm twisted by the cracking of a filling. I contacted Dr. Tacvorian and she made it a point to see me as soon as she was able. I have always had a fear of the dentist, from prior bad experiences from experiencing a lot of pain, to just doing a bad job. Dr. Tacvorian is the epitome of what I WISH I had in a dentist not only growing up as a kid, but now into adulthood as well. She is kind, caring, and made it a completely pain free experience. She explains things in detail, and gives every option possible. Her office goes above and beyond to make sure you feel COVID-safe as well. There are cleaning stations, big air purifiers every few feet in the office, and they open each and every tool in front of your eyes for you to see. I would highly recommend Dr. Tacvorian for any of your current or future dentistry needs.

Dr. Tacvorian's practice has been the first dentist that didn't cause me pain during regular cleanings. My family has been patients for the past 9 years and we all had a great experience. My first experience with Dr. Tacvorian came when I get a bad toothache while I was still getting over pneumonia, so I was worried a dentist would not want to see me, but Dr. Tacvorian was wonderful and took care of me. Over the years we've had cleanings and fillings there, and gotten good referrals for more involved procedures (e.g. root canals and braces for our daughter). One of the dental tools that I find problematic is the cleaning jet that squirts a mixture of water and cleaning solution. These machines shoot cold water which I'm sensitive too. Dr. Tacvorian's office was able to avoid the use of this tool for me, and it made all the difference.
