Jerry provided an excellent presentation on every aspect of the bath renovation and the steps involved as well as the various options available. Great job and we did decide to go with Long Home Products.

I contacted Long Roofing last August (2023) to get an estimate to have our roof replaced, was told both owners of our home needed to be present at the time of the appointment, so we both took time off and made sure we were at the house on the morning of the appointment as agreed. The appointment was made for Tuesday August 15th, 2023, after I confirmed the details with two Long reps telephonically. I received a text message over the weekend, confirmed the appointment via that text, yet no one showed at the appointed time. I called Long Roofing only to be told I had not confirmed the phone call the Sunday before so my appointment had been cancelled by Long. I neither received a phone call or a VM message from Long as they said I did. They offered an alternative date, was told Josh was their supervisor, but I declined to re-schedule as my wife and I had already wasted four hours of our time each taking the morning off. Fast forward to March 27th, 2024. I received a text from Long Roofing advising they were running a promo special and invited me to talk to one of their specialists, so I respond to the text in the affirmative and on March 28th I talk to two of their reps. I reminded them of what happened the time before and both Long reps told me it wouldnt happen again. When I reiterate my irritation with the failed confirmation from the previous appointment the second rep told me he was confirming my appointment via the TELCON we were having and that no further confirmation would be needed. The appointment was scheduled for the following Tuesday at 10:00AM, I receive two texts the Sunday before and confirmed the appointment. Tuesday, 10:00AM rolled around, my wife and I were waiting for them as agreed again and again no one showed from Long. Rather than waiting for an hour like last time I call after ten minutes and was told Long Roofing again cancelled my appointment when I didnt respond to the phone call two days earlier. I never received a call or VM message from Long two days earlier, just the text that I confirmed. I talked to the second rep (I have his name), reminded him he had told me HE had confirmed our appointment, and he told me they have an additional confirmation protocol, even though I had no record of their call and no voice mail and I had confirmed their text as requested, but apparently that is not good enough. How in the world am I supposed to confirm a phone call I never received? A question I repeated to them for about the fourth time. I was given copious apologies, asked for the supervisors name, was told it was Keith, but I did not ask to talk to him. Just as happened last August, no one from Long showed showed at the appointed time. I confirmed via text, but did not receive a confirmation phone call (or voice mail message) as I was told by Long I had been. Another no-show!!! Even though we discussed the appointment confirmation process in detail and ad nauseam in advance and I was told my appointment was confirmed by the second Long Roofing Rep. I have no idea how Long Roofings confirmation system is intended to work, but it is significantly flawed and an incredible waste of potential customers time. I cant be the only person this has happened to and apparently, they didnt care enough to improve the system from my first reported failure or to follow up and do things correctly when given a second opportunity. I have never experienced such incompetent follow-through on a scheduled appointment(s) in my life!
