Longfellow's Wayside Inn

We had the Sunday Dinner at Longfellow Inn. It started with a cheese spread and a basket of muffins and rolls. Our appetizer was a cold raspberry bisque. Our main meal was lamb with potatos, and a vegetable. Dessert was ice cream, Indian pudding or deep dish apple pie. We went there on Thanksgiving and it was lovely. Food & drinks: We went to the restaurant which also does an outstanding job with catered affairs.

This drink, the Coow Woow, was so yummy and also so very strong! Dinner was delicious and our overnight accommodations were wonderful! Thank you for making the end of my birth-month wonderful! Shout out to Maureen at the front desk...... her welcoming hospitality really made checking in easy and we felt very comfortable. Sam was our waitress for dinner and she worked diligently making sure we had everything we needed! Dave in the tavern was a plethora of historical information as well as a wonderful conversationalist. We will return! Walkability: There are trails all around this area in Sudbury and you can walk to the Grist Mill & the Martha Mary Chapel. Beautiful location with historic significance. Food & drinks: Drinks were generously poured and very inexpensive! Dinner was also very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Breakfast was included in the overnight stay and was plentiful and delicious!
