We used Sudbury Design Group -- specifically Kelley Woodacre -- to design and build our courtyard in our new condo. Kelley was great; she was punctual, reliable, pleasant, and did an excellent job creating a design and overseeing the project. She listened to what we wanted and gave us something that matched our budget and expectations. She was super.

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Our project was led by Matt Sullivan, who is quite simply a rock star. He's everything you'd want in a Quarterback or Leader for any large scale project, and is a phenomenal representative of SDG. While SDG has undoubtedly completed many projects of much greater size & scale, they treated ours like it was the most important one in their portfolio. The entire team was professional, friendly, on time and very skilled at their individual specialties. Our project involved a back yard renovation centered on a new pool, and deck/kitchen/entertainment area. We had carpenters (Elmo is incredible), masons, and landscapers from SDG, along with a kitchen redesign from a company they recommended and partnered with beautifully. There were no surprises, and they never said 'No' if we had a new idea or something we wanted tweaked in the plans. They were able to offer us higher end options where/when we wanted, but always with an option to stay 'on budget.' They dealt with outside 3rd parties, the Town of Needham and a variety of other people that we didn't have the time or expertise to work with. The depth and breadth of their knowledge is truly impressive. I would recommend SDG without reservation!

I would give the company a negative star if I could. Save your money, lawn and garden and stay away. The most unprofessional group of people we ever met in the landscape industry. They were all nice and accommodating until they got the contract for maintenance and some planting signed and after that they were a disaster. They would spend 10 minutes in the house and charge 185.00 for each lawn cut, leaving the place a mess. no one would return calls. Our home is in Wellesley and we found these people through an Internet search, I wish someone had a posted a review. They act as if they are a boutique five star firm, but they will never deliver only charge you as luxury firm.The owner Mike Coutou came out to meet us and he was full of false promises. Do not be fooled.I sincerely hope that this review will be helpful for other homeowners who are thinking of hiring these people.
